Close to the water you get mid-rise blocks with a lift and parking underneath, and the clearance down there varies a lot. A two bedroom unit sits at around $594 on our standard local pricing, and a job that size normally takes 3-5 hours. Because we bill a Cronulla move by the hour, a ground floor unit with the truck at the kerb lands under that figure and a third floor walk-up lands over it. The blankets, the carry and the drive are already inside that figure.
It depends on the clearance in your building. Ask the building manager for the measurement and send it to us before moving day. Where the vehicle fits we drive in and load from the car park. Where it does not, arrange a legal street-level space; the extra walk adds time on the clock but does not stop the move.
One or two weeks gives us the best shot at the date you want, and a bit more helps for a Saturday or over summer. If you are moving sooner than that, ring anyway, because last-minute jobs are often possible.
Transit insurance is available on every move, so your things are covered while they are in the vehicle. Ask for it when you book. We can also walk you through the extra cover on offer.
